Integrations – Detail

Introduction

Integrating with Search Ads Maven is easy and can be accomplished within a short amount of time. This document provides the detailed instructions for the integration process.

User Interface

  1. Log in to Search Ads Maven.
  2. Click User Menu > Integrations.

Input Settings

The header of each page within Search Ads Maven provides the ability to change user settings, language settings, app selection, data period selection as well as shortcuts for syncing data and creating a campaign.

User Settings
Once a user has signed into Search Ads Maven, they can navigate to the different organizations that they are associated with as well as change/update user settings. Once signed in, click on the down arrow caret > Settings. The following profile information may be updated:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Phone Number
  • Job Title

One the profile settings have been updated, click Update Profile to save the changes.
Language Settings

The following languages are available for display within the UI:

  • English (EN)
  • German (DE)
  • Spanish (ES)
  • Korean (KO)
  • Chinese (ZH)
  • Japanese (JA)
  • French (FR)
Data Sync
By default when you log in to your Search Ads Maven account, your data will by synced. If you need to sync your data at any time, you can click on the Data Sync button. A spinning wheel and percentage complete will be displayed providing updates on the sync process. After the sync has been competed, a Last sync date and time will be displayed.

NOTE: The time shown for data sync is local time of the client (browser time). Reporting time is UTC in Search Ads Maven for all requests except for scheduled reports. For reporting, date range is received at backend as a UTC date and is converted to a timestamp subsequently. Search Ads Maven does not take user’s ASA timezone into account currently.


Associated Partners

The Associated Partners section provides the ability to link with Apple, communications partners and Mobile Measurement Partners.

Apple Search Ads Integration

The first integration that needs to take place is the integration with Apple Search Ads.
  1. Click Apple Search Ads > +.
  2. Enter your Apple ID.
  3. Click the next arrow.
  4. Enter your Password.
  5. Note: A Two-Factor Authentication SMS message will be sent to the device listed on the Apple account.

  6. Enter the Two-Factor Identification.
  7. Once the correct six-digit verification code has been entered, you will be navigated to the permissions page.

  1. Check Account Read & Write.
  2. Click Grant Access.
  3. A Grant API Access pop-up window will appear, click Yes.
Once you have granted access to the API, you will be redirected back to Search Ads Maven and the integration will appear in the Completed Integrations sections. An email will also be sent to the address that you entered confirming the integration.

Communications

Slack

Integrating with Slack will enable you to receive notifications associated with the activity of your Search Ads Maven account.

Note: If your Slack app is managed, a request will need to be sent to the manager of the app in order to gain access.

  1. Click + Add Integration.
  2. Click Slack.
  3. In the upper right corner, select a Workspace.
  4. Enter a message to the app manager.
  5. Click Submit.

Mobile Measurement Partners

Search Ads Maven provides an easy process for integrating with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs). Below is a list of available integrations:

Support for other MMPs is coming soon.


Completed Integrations

The Completed Integrations section provides access to the integrations that have been successfully connected. If further integration steps need to be completed, a link will be provided with the additional steps required.

Integration Actions

If an integration needs to be removed, a red trashcan icon is provided. A popup box will be provided asking if deleting the integration is what is being requested. Click Ok if you want to delete the integration or Cancel if you would like to keep the integration.
