Overview Detail

Introduction

The Search Ads Maven overview page provides a single location to view a variety of data associated with your Apple Search campaigns.

Across the top of the overview page are six data cards which can display a variety of metrics such as taps, impressions, new download, etc. Once a metric has been selected for one of the display boxes, the percentage of change for that metric over the past 7 days is displayed.

The main part of the overview page provides four sections displaying device data, world map, the top keywords by category and top adgroups by category.


Input Settings

The header of each page within Search Ads Maven provides the ability to change user settings, language settings, app selection, data period selection as well as shortcuts for syncing data and creating a campaign.

User Settings
Once a user has signed into Search Ads Maven, they can navigate to the different organizations that they are associated with as well as change/update user settings. Once signed in, click on the down arrow caret > Settings. The following profile information may be updated:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Phone Number
  • Job Title

One the profile settings have been updated, click Update Profile to save the changes.
Setup Password

The Setup Password feature provides the opportunity to change the current user’s password.

  1. Click Setup Password.
  2. Enter a New Password.
  3. Confirm the Password.
  4. Click Submit.
Language Settings

The following languages are available for display within the UI:

  • English (EN)
  • German (DE)
  • Spanish (ES)
  • Korean (KO)
  • Chinese (ZH)
  • Japanese (JA)
  • French (FR)
App and Period Selection
App and Timeframe Selection
Data Sync
Create Campaign Sync Latest Data

NOTE: The time shown for data sync is local time of the client (browser time). Reporting time is UTC in Search Ads Maven for all requests except for scheduled reports. For reporting, date range is received at backend as a UTC date and is converted to a timestamp subsequently. Search Ads Maven does not take user’s ASA timezone into account currently.


Data Requests

Keyword Analysis Requests

The Overview page provides an easy location to view and navigate to the different Keyword Analysis requests that are in progress and completed.

After opening, the requests in progress will be displayed. You can view the progress of each specific request as well as stop any of the requests.

Clicking on any of the completed requests will navigate you to the corresponding Search Ads Maven page.

CSV Export

The CSV Export option provides the ability to send all or specific datasets to a desired email address.
  1. Click the Export to CSV icon.
  2. Select the desired date range.
  3. Select the desired Report Dataset(s).

  5. Enter the email address you wish the CSV export to be sent to.
  6. Click Send Report.

Data Cards

Search Ads Maven provides six data cards which can display a variety of metrics as well as the percentage of change over the selected period. Each data card provides a drop-down list of the available metrics. Once a metric has been selected, it will be removed from the list of available metrics from the other data cards. Below is a list of the available metrics for the data cards:

  • Average CPA
  • Average CPT
  • Impressions
  • Conversion Rate (CR)
  • Installs
  • LAT On Installs
  • LAT Off Installs
  • New Downloads
  • Spend
  • Taps
  • Tap-through rate (TTR)
  • Re-Downloads


Impressions to Installs Graph

The Impressions to Installs Graph provides a numeric and visual representation for the Impressions, Taps and Installs.


Device and Gender Breakdown

The Device and Gender overview panel provides an easy location to review the specific devices and gender of the user broken out by:

  • Impressions
  • Taps
  • Tap-through-rate (TTR)
  • Spend
  • Installs
  • Average CPA
  • Average CPT

The graph displays the totals on the vertical axis and the device and gender breakout on the horizontal axis. Mousing over any of the columns will display the associated data. Clicking on any of metrics on the horizontal axis will hide the data from the display.


World Map Overlay

The World Map Overlay provides a drop-down list of available metrics which are overlaid onto the world map. The following metrics are available:

  • Impressions
  • Taps
  • Tap-through rate (TTR)
  • Spend
  • Installs
  • Average CPA
  • Average CPT
  • Conversion Rate (CR)
  • LAT On Installs
  • LAT Off Installs
  • Re-Downloads
  • New Downloads

Once a metric has been selected, the world map will be updated to reflect the associated data. When a country is shown in gray, there is no data to display. When a country is displayed in color, that indicates that data is present. The darker the shade, the higher the metric value.

Top 10 Keywords

This section provides a list of the top 10 Keywords organized by Spend, Impressions or Taps. A drop-down list is provided enabling the organization by Spend, Impressions or Taps. A link is provided which will navigate you to Ads Manager page where Keywords can be analyzed in more detail.

Top 10 Ad Groups

This section provides a list of the top 10 Ad Groups organized by Spend, Impressions or Taps. A drop-down list is provided enabling the organization by Spend, Impressions or Taps. A link is provided which will navigate you to Ads Manager page where Ad Groups can be analyzed in more detail.
