Integrate with AppsFlyer

Introduction

The following document describes the procedure for integrating with AppsFlyer a Mobile Measurement Partner. Once you have integrated with AppsFlyer, Goals can be setup in order to view the associated metrics.

The full integration process involves completing steps both within Search Ads Maven and AppsFlyer. Once the steps below have been successfully completed, please follow the link to the AppsFlyer support site and complete the provided instructions.


Adding the Integration

Integrating with AppsFlyer is a very quick and simple process.

  1. Log in to Search Ads Maven.
  2. Click User Menu > Integrations.
  1. Click on “+” next to Custom.
  2. A new pop-up box will be opened. Select the desired App.
  3. Access the AppsFlyer Push API Configuration.
  4. Navigate to Reports > API Access > Push API.
  5. Select HTTP Method > POST.
  6. Copy and paste the following URL into the Postback URL field :
  7. Enable Non-Organic Event Types:
    • Check all the boxes for Non-Organic Event Types to ensure we receive all events attributed to ASA.
  8. Include Specific Parameters:
Message Fields to Include:
  • Ad
  • Ad ID
  • Ad Type
  • Adset ID
  • Adset Name
  • Attributed Touch Time
  • Campaign
  • Campaign ID
  • Campaign Type
  • Country Code
  • Event Revenue
  • Event Revenue Currency
  • Event Revenue USD
  • Event Value
  • Install Time
  • Keyword ID
  • Keywords
  • Keywords Match Type
  • Match Type
  • Media Source
  • Store Product Page
  1. Select In-App Events:
    • Choose the event(s) you want to send postbacks for under the In-App Events section.
  2. Click Save.
  3. Send an email to support@searchadsmaven.com to confirm the postbacks have been configured.

It may take up to 24 hours for Search Ads Maven to recognize events that are being sent from AppsFlyer. It is also important that only events that are attributed to Apple Ads campaigns will be recognized.


Goals

Creating Goals

Once the integration process has been completed in both Search Ads Maven and Branch, Goals may be setup to visualize the associated data.

  1. Log in to Search Ads Maven.
  2. Click Goals.
  3. Click Create Goal.
  4. Select an App.
  5. Select a Goal Type.
  6. Select the desired Event.
  7. Enter a Goal Name.
  8. Click Create.

Reviewing Goal Data

Once a Goal has been created and the data has begun to be sent to Search Ads Maven, you can review and compare the data within the Overview page. Within the Data Cards, the following options are available:

  • Goal Event Count
  • Cost Per Goal
  • Revenue Per Goal
  • Goal Revenue
  • Goal ROAS
  • ARPU
  • AMPU
